One of the advantages of owning a California timeshare is being able to participate in a timeshare exchange, virtually allowing the owner to travel around the world while only having to purchase one week. California timeshare exchanges are a popular option as they allow people to explore California without having to actually purchase or rent a timeshare in that location. Some people might wonder what the costs are and how a typical timeshare exchange between owners might work? First since the owners are exchanging their timeshare week directly there is no need for any fees to be involved, unless one week is obviously much more valuable than the other, at which time both parties might agree there should be some sort of monetary compensation in addition to the California timeshare exchange. Both parties will want the other to sign an agreement stating they are responsible for any damages occur during their stay.
