The amenities and activities are both abundant and diverse, everything from a leisure stroll along the white sand beach or a swim in the warm gulf water to kayaking, canoeing, or fishing from the shore. To help you start off your fun filled week at Gulf Pointe all guests and owners are invited to a complementary beach-side get acquainted party on Monday afternoon. Lots of food, beverage, new friends to meet, or old friendships to re-new. Just step out of your unit and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beautiful white sands of Vanderbilt Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Be sure to check out the abundance of sea shells, soaring pelicans and waterfowl. Chances are good you will get a visit from one of the friendly group of Dolphin as they feed and play just off shore. Of course you may also want to participate in other water activities such as snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, or fishing. Arrangements can also be made for sailing, power boating, para-sailing, or dinner cruises. When it comes to "fun in the sun" your choices seem almost endless. If you are ready for a break from the beach activities then how about a bike ride to acquaint yourself with the nearby neighborhood on the water or the tropical tree lined trails of Pelican Bay. Shopping, movie theater, restaurants, and library are all close by.
