Minnesota has many diverse travel options which some might overlook during when initially planning a vacation, however digging a little deeper exposes some of the most fun filled and exciting attractions one can find in this region. An attraction made popular in recent history is the “Mall Of America” in Bloomington, which is the largest retail mall in all of North America, many people go to their local mall and are able to be gone within a few hours however this feat is rarely accomplished in a mall this size. The mall itself is 9.5 million square feet and contains over 400 retail stores for the nearly 40 million visits it receives each year, if your family gets tired of shopping there is even an indoor roller coaster to get the juices flowing again. A unique aspect of Minneapolis is the world famous skyway system which connects nearly five miles of the downtown area allowing visitors to eat and shop without even having to go outside. This city is also home to the oldest continuously running theater in the country allowing visitors to take in a play for a nice evening out on the town.
