For people who like to be in the very center of all the action Oklahoma timeshares are the place to visit as the capitol city is almost directly in the center of the USA both when viewing it from North to South and East to West. In Oklahoma City two major interstates intersects making the city the crossroads of the entire country, the two interstates are I-35 and I-40. The first I-35 stretches from Canada all the way to the Mexico border, making it a vital route for transporting products of all shapes and sizes. The second highway, I-40, connects the east and west coast of the United States, that’s right the ultimate family road trip can span the entire nation just by driving on one interstate. Before I-40 was constructed there was historic “Route 66”, which was a two lane highway and the only one connecting east and west coast. Straying off I-40, it easy to find the historic road where many museums and 1960s style restaurants commemorate the famous highway. Oklahoma was first set aside for various tribes of Indians as the United States began to grow and expand westward many tribes were forced to leave the land there ancestors had used for hundreds of years and settle in Oklahoma. After a number of years officials changed their mind and tribes were again forced to leave their home in Oklahoma, this migration is known as the “Trail of Tears”. The beginnings of this state were very unique and started with a single shot fired from a pistol. The great land run of 1889 was basically a free for all where settlers were given the opportunity to race to plots of land and stake their claim. Both the “Trail Of Tears” and “Land Run” are memorialized by the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Oklahoma timeshare rentals will allow the family to experience a vacation rich in history and culture.
