One of a terrace with views of the sea from the first floor this cosy holiday cottage is situated between Rye and Hastings. Close by is Cliff End where at low tide it is possible to see tree stumps which are the remains of a forest which has been dated back to the last Ice Age! At Pett Level the Royal Military Canal ends having started at Hythe, 28 miles away, and originally built as a defence against the possible invasion from Napoleon. The area is ideal for bird watching at Pett Pools where you will spot a huge variety of wildfowl which visit in the winter.
