Less than 2 miles from Sheringham's fine swimming beach, Bell Cottage was originally part of the village school, under whose small bell tower it sits. Excellently furnished and equipped, with its own enclosed garden at the rear, the holiday cottage is one of a small award-winning collection of brick and flint cottage conversions set in a secluded courtyard. Sheringham Hall (a few hundred yards away and owned by the National Trust) is set in a fine park offering lovely walks and superb views. Pretty little Upper Sheringham is about 1½ miles from Sheringham itself.
