Vuokatti Country Club is situated in Kainuu, an area renowned for the beauty of its many lakes. Ski slopes are only a few hundred metres from the resort and cross- country skiing and hiking trails pass by. The area abounds with leisure and sports facilities including squash, tennis and volleyball courts, fishing, golf, bowling, an indoor spa, snowmobiling and for the courageous, even ski jumps. The units are in log cabins and each has a fireplace and sauna. A car is needed to fully enjoy the area. Ski and snowboard tubes which are open all year round are situated 1km from the resort.
