Full of charm, this detached holiday cottage lies just off the N59, outside Oughterand. It is situated on the banks of the River Drimneen which flows into the western side of Lough Corrib and set on a working farm where the 16th-century Aughanune Castle sits in its picturesque surroundings at the end of the owner's road. Lough Corrib, 1.5 miles is noted for salmon and trout fishing (boat and tackle hire available locally) and there is a local 18-hole golf course and swimming pool.
