Within the Tanca Manna complex and 0.5km from the sandy beaches lies the Sporting Hotel Tanca Manna. On-site facilities are excellent, and the village of Cannigione, with its shops, bars, and marina, is about 3.5km away. From Palau, there are boat excursions to tiny, offshore islands. Car rental is recommended on the Costa Smeralda. Anthias Diving is available for guided scuba and snorkelling excursions to the nearby islands. Windsurfing boards, canoes and sailing boats can be hired and tuition is available.
