Merlo city is located in the northwest extreme of the province of San Luis, on the western hillside of the Sierras of Comechingones, a natural border with the province of Cordoba. This important tourist center was founded in 1796 and its mountainous relief, sprinkled with small woods and crystal water streams, gives it a singular beauty.
