Jean Lafitte, the notorious pirate and patriot of the Caribbean, is the namesake of this New Orleans locale. The two brick buildings, built in 1831 by Lafitte's fierce captain Rene Beluche, have been completely restored, and living areas have been elegantly furnished. Nestled in the residential area of the French Quarter, Jean Lafitte House provides a quiet spot to swim, and relax before exploring the rambunctious streets of the Quarter. Numerous shops and restaurants await you just a few blocks away. Take a stroll through Jackson Square or visit the French Market.
Guests will relax in an authentic 1830s townhouse built by pirates and fully renovated for vacationers. Jazz clubs, restaurants, and other French Quarter destinations are within walking distance. The Riverfront Streetcar stops at the aquarium and Jackson Square.
